As featured at Nickelodeon cable TV network on Saturday night, Katy Perry won the Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie awards for the film “The Smurfs“, where she voiced the character of Smurfette.

“Thank you so very much! Listen: The only reason why I’m still here today — and remember this — is because I’ve never grown up! Thank you so much for this. I love you, and I can’t wait to do ‘Smurfs 2.'” Perry was quoted telling to the crowd after host Will Smith presented her the award.

Perry, 27, who was the first performer that night, flew across the room to the stage; where she sang her latest hit single, “Part of Me” along with some back-up dancers dressed in ancient costumes that had delighted dance moves.

Katy Perry was dressed as a warrior and brought along a sword that resembled the costumes during the medieval period, as she descended down the stage and brought the crowd to their dancing mood.

Apparently, Perry served as a court performer in front of the king seated on his throne, held a shiny shield at one point and later armed with a pie that she smocked at the king’s face on the last part that made the audience screamed with excitement.
