As reported earlier, Justin Timberlake accepted the YouTube invitation of Cpl. Kelsey de Santis last July and joined her last Saturday in Richmond, Virginia, as shown here in the photo.

One day after the event, the 30-year old singer-turned actor rushed to his official website and shared his experience that night and described it as “one of the most moving evenings I’ve ever had”.

“I knew I would have an evening that I wouldn’t forget… Something I could tell my friends about. What I didn’t know was how moved I would be by the whole experience.” Timberlake wrote.

“She seemed to me to be so humble and honest… Very cool. She also simultaneously seemed like she was nervous about the whole evening and if I was going to enjoy myself.” Timberlake said, describing Corporal Kelsey de Santis.

“Humble, concerned for others before themselves… This was the type of person our Marine Corps was building. I was really blown away.” He added, noting that he supports very much the US Armed Forces.

The “Friends With Benefits” actor also said that Cpl. de Santis shared her experience in the training in mixed martial arts, and they danced a little and enjoyed the dinner along with her closest friends.

Later, Timberlake noted that videos of Pearl Harbor/WW2 and 9/11 were shown with some Marines who were among the first ones to be there, and shared their own stories of the event.

“I was truly moved.” Timberlake described his feelings what he saw and noted that he has high respect for the Marines. He said he told them how much happy he was to be with them that evening.

“Thank you Corporal Kelsey DeSantis. Thank you for inviting me. And, thank you for being my hero.” Timberlake said on the last part of his post.

Meanwhile, Hollywood actress Mila Kunis, who was earlier invited by Sgt. Scott Moore also via YouTube, and accepted the invitation, with the Marine Corps Ball to be held on Friday, November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina.
