Justin Bieber visited Tacloban City, one of the areas badly hit by Typhoon Yolanda (Intl Code: Haiyan), today, as reported by different local news sites.

According to reports, Bieber went to the Philippines unannounced. He did not just show up there, he even held a “mini-concert” and played basketball with the kids.

The mini-concert was said to be exclusive for the children. He gave T-shirts and enjoyed playing basketball with the survivors, as shown below.

“He sang Holy Night for the children,” Kate Donovan, a spokeswoman for UNICEF was quoted as saying.

Before Bieber visited the Philippines, he urged his millions of fans to donate to the victims of the typhoon: “In the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, its victims in the Philippines need our help — and they need it now,” Bieber said in his appeal in Prizeo.com, a fund raising website.
