Josh Duhamel enlisted support from wife Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson and her band, The Black Eyed Peas, for a benefit concert to help his flooded hometown, as reported by several entertainment news sites, September 4, 2011.

According to reports, Josh Duhamel, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon star, spent Saturday in Minot, North Dakota to raise funds for relief efforts after floodwaters forced 11,000 people from their homes.

Duhamel, who visited the flood victims in a Red Cross shelter, is apparently confident the locals will be able to rebuild Minot.

He was even reportedly quoted saying, “I have pride in where I’m from and just want to help the best way I could. People (in Minot) are as strong as they come. I’m not really worried about the will or spirit of the people.”
