According to report at ABS-CBN on Wednesday, March 07, 2012, Anna Lyn Manalo filed the complaint against Jose Manalo at the Office of the City Prosecutor in San Juan on February 27, and gave a copy of the document to the network.

“Umalis siya January 6 this year pero ‘yung mga bagay na ito alam ko na last year pa. Since January alam ko na ang nangyayari, tinitiis ko lang lahat ito para sa mga bata,” Anna Lyn was quoted telling to ABS-CBN‘s talk show “The Buzz” last Sunday.

(He left us last January 6 this year but I knew about these things since last year. I knew it since January but I am bearing this for the sake our children.)

Apparently, Anna Lyn noted that day that she also tried to talk to Jose‘s alleged girlfriend and is willing to accept the comedian if he decides to come back and she still loves him; and that she is just doing this because she was hurt.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN noted that she wrote on her affidavit that she and her children have suffered from verbal and emotional abuse; and that Jose left their home in San Juan City on January 6, 2012 and has been trying to find his whereabouts but cannot find him.

Jose, 46, whom along with his fellow comedian Wally Bayola had a successful concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Friday, March 2, is appearing regularly at GMA 7‘s daily noontime show Eat Bulaga, and has five children with Anna Lyn.

As of this writing, Jose Manalo has not yet released any formal comment on this issue; with a preliminary investigation on the complaint being set on Wednesday, March 14 and another one on March 21.
