According to the description on the YouTube video late last week, Jose made the spoof of Budoy in front of Gerald in a star-studded basketball event, especially dedicated to help Typhoon Sendong victims.

The ‘Jose as Budoy‘ impromptu comedy skit happened during the basketball break inside the basketball court of FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan City last Friday, January 6, and went trending in Twitter.

On the said event, Jose Manalo was seen acting like Budoy in a comic way and introduced himself to the crowd as Budoy‘s older brother and called himself as “Unggoy” (monkey); and the people screamed with laughter.

Anderson, 22, who was also among the stars playing basketball that time, acknowledged Jose and also acted as Budoy. He later approached the comedian and continued to entertain the crowd, and the two stars shook hands afterwards.

Manalo, 45, a well-known comedian in the country, whose tandem with Wally Bayola entertain the public via GMA 7‘s Eat Bulaga and in other shows, is also known in copying local personalities including Willie Revillame.

On the other hand, Anderson rose to fame after he joined ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Season 1‘ back in 2006. He later became a part of Star Magic, ABS-CBN‘s talent agency and was teamed with Kim Chiu, whom he had a special relationship for 5 years and made blockbuster movies.
