Jessica Sanchez received another standing ovation from the judges and audience as well, after performing on American Idol 2012 Top 10 performance night on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, as shown in the video below.

As featured at Fox on Wednesday night, American Idol 2012 Top 10 finalist Jessica Sanchez sang Billy Joel‘s “Everybody Has a Dream” that night, with other contestants also performing his other hits.

Apparently, the three judges did their usual giving of comments after each performance but gave a standing ovation to Jessica Sanchez, noting that she is a fan of Tommy Hilfiger, who was present that night and said that she could be both a music icon and a fashion icon.

“What I’m loving that it takes consistency to win and you have it, you are flawless and perfect, excellent mentoring, that was perfection”. Randy Jackson told Jessica, who also received a standing ovation when she performed Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.

“When God was giving out vocal chords, you were so at the beginning of the line. You’ve gone way past my judging. Thank you for letting me hear you sing, baby.” Steven Tyler was quoted telling to the 16-year old Filipino-American finalist.

“That song was, like, written for you. That was a defining moment for me, it was a beautiful thing”. Jennifer Lopez said.
