Jesse Koczon got his wish of becoming State Governor of New Jersey when  Governor Chris Christie signed a proclamation, granting the 5-year-old as the state’s honorary governor for a day, according to several international reports.

Brandon Koczon, Jesse‘s twin brother, was made the honorary lieutenant governor by Governor Christie.

Jesse Koczon became a YouTube sensation when he was recorded crying by his mother, Dawn Koczon. “Cause everyone tells me I’m too small to be the governor of New Jersey,” Jesse explained when asked why he is crying on the video.

The Jesse Kocson video went viral over the internet and was shown on America’s Funniest Home Videos TV show.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie got Jesse‘s message and responded on Twitter.

Below is Governor Chris Christie‘s tweet.

Don’t worry Jesse, people gave plenty of reasons why I couldn’t be Governor, though being too small wasn’t one of them.
