As featured at NBA on Tuesday night, New York KnicksJeremy Lin makes a successful 3-point shot to break the tie at 87, leading his team for their sixth straight win since February 4 and suddenly created a name in the league.

Apparently, the 23-year old American-Taiwanese basketball player with Chinese parents who was undrafted during the 2012 NBA Draft, is now being considered as a rising NBA superstar.

Jeremy Lin first played for the Golden State Warriors and was transferred to his current team last December; and was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week in last week’s pick.

As reported earlier, the term “Linsanity” is now connected to Jeremy Lin, after he led the New York Knicks with five straight wins, including his along with a 38-point game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nevertheless, undefeated American boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr did not seem to be pleased with attention the media is giving to him, as he tweeted on Monday, saying “Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he’s Asian“.
