As announced by Ryan Seacrest on his official blog on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, Jennifer Lopez will return to “American Idol” along with the two other judges, as well as him as the show host.

According to Seacrest, Lythgoe called him on his “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and made the confirmation that the three “American Idol” judges have signed up for the show’s next season.

“I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of ‘American Idol‘ is back for the next season,” Lythgoe told Seacrest, who also tweeted the return of JLo on the show.

“Just spoke to Idol EP @dizzyfeet and he says @JLo will be back next season!” Ryan Seacrest posted on Twitter on Wednesday, adding that American Idol Season 11 auditions will start in a couple of weeks from now.

Earlier, Lopez, who made headlines after her split with husband Marc Anthony, told reports that she was not yet sure if she will return to the show.

“I don’t know. I haven’t been forced to make a decision and I’m glad about that because, honestly, I’m very on the fence about it.” JLo was quoted as saying.
