Jeff Bridges, actor and singer, stars once again in the “Big Lebowski,” a comedy film that also features John Goodman, Julianne Moore and Steve Buscemi. This was disclosed by US entertainment reports, August 13, 2011.

Jeff Bridges, 61, known to many as “The Dude” because of his humility and unassuming manner, has been tagged as the “Best Actor Alive” by “The New Yorker.”

He was also the youngest, at 22, and the oldest at 60, to win the Academy Award. He won “Best Supporting Actor” at age 22 for the film “The Last Picture Show” and at age 60 as “Best Actor” in the film “Crazy Heart.”

Further reports revealed that Bridges stars in the “Rest in Peace Department” or R.I.P.D. movie, which is a supernatural film.

R.I.P.D. also features Stephanie Szostak and Kevin Bacon in the lead. Bridges is in the pre-production stage of “The Seventh Son,” too, which is another film that would be released on 2013.

Jeff Bridges debut album with Blue Note Records and EMI Music Group will be released, as well, on August 16, 2011.
