The Jacksonville Jaguars has now a new look and identity, along with the launch of Jaguars new logo, as shown in the photo below, which will be used by the team this 2013-2014 NFL season. The new identity of the Jaguars was introduced via a press conference on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
As noted at the official website of the Jacksonville Jaguars that day, the new Jaguars logo was unveiled around 4:08 p.m. in the West Touchdown club at EverBank Field, in Jacksonville, led by team owner Shad Khan and Jaguars President Mark Lamping. They both spoke in front of the media.
According to the Jaguars, the rebranding of the team, which will take place immediately, will be accompanied in 2013 by the theme, “Stand United,” and will “reflect three distinct and powerful attributes that will describe and guide the Jaguars on and off the field – proud, bold and committed.”
“To be a success in business or life, you have to stand for something and hold yourself accountable to the
principles you believe in. The Jacksonville Jaguars will not be casual in this responsibility, which we owe ourselves, our fans, and the Jacksonville community.” Shad Khan was quoted on his speech.
“From this day, the Jacksonville Jaguars will live a brand mission of being proud, bold and committed in everything we do. Our new logo and campaign theme are the first initiatives of what will be many examples of bringing this philosophy to life. A new era for the Jaguars begins today.” Khan added.
“The new brand message, logo treatment, and campaign theme we are introducing today will be critical components to the ongoing revitalization of the Jaguars franchise. Change is exciting and it is certainly ahead for all of us.” Mark Lamping said, calling the recent 2013 Super Bowl as the new era for their team.
“But, we were careful to remain faithful to the values that Jaguars fans and the Jacksonville region have embraced since Day One, and the result is a new look and approach that we feel will make an immediate and lasting impact.” Lamping added, who also thanked the role of the NFL to their football team.
