‘Invisible’ Art By Elise Victoria Louise Windsor Of Toronto Wins 2011 Award (Photos)

Toronto artist Elise Victoria Louise Windsor won the 2011 Untapped Emerging Photographers for her Invisible Art works, according to reports by several international rews sites on Wednesday, June 29, 2011.

Reports say that Windsor‘s art “focuses on the use of illusions created by fantasy, mystery and the duplication of reality.” She is an art school graduate of OCAD University, that combines origami and photography to create illusion portraits. Her creations were on display in the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition.

Some of Windsor‘s work were based on elements she found in older homes in Toronto. She was able to come up with fascinating images by combining photography and scupture.

According to Windsor, her work highlights the 2-dimensions of photography.
