The Instagram for Android registration is now open to those who want to sign-up early via submission of email address, with its service to be ‘coming soon’, but has no specific date yet.

As noted at technology sites on Saturday, March 24, 2012, the free registration of Instagram for Android users opened that day, with the social photo sharing service launching a dedicated page on their official website.

“Want to be first in line for Instagram on Android?” A statement reads at Instagram blog, along with the link to the Instagram for Android registration page, with the service confirmed by CEO and co-founder Kevin Systrom last December during the LeWeb conference.

“Obviously, we didn’t start a business to not make money. Our focus now is on growing the network. You really need to build up the network, or no advertisers care.” Systrom was quoted that time, with Instagram being among the Top-Selling iPhone app last year.

Last March 11, Mr. Systrom was interviewed by TechCrunch during the SXSW Interactive conference in Austin, Texas, where he revealed that there are now more than 27 million registered users of Instgram.
