Hugh Grant recently welcomed his baby boy, which he confirmed via his official Twitter account on Saturday, February 16, 2013. Grant, 52, revealed that he is indeed a father again with his Chinese partner Tinglan Hong, who is 19 years younger than him. They have a daughter around 16 months old.

“In answer to some journos. Am thrilled my daughter now has a brother. Adore them both to an uncool degree. They have a fab mum…And to be crystal clear. I am the Daddy.” Hugh Grant (@HackedOffHugh) tweeted that day. His daughter with Ms. Hong was born in September 2011.
“Thanks for the kind messages. Now I’ve confirmed (press somehow got birth certificate & were calling),hoping my family will be left in peace.” Hugh Grant added, apparently referring to Daily Mail, which reported that day that they have been calling the British actor to confirm the issue.
As noted in the report, the official birth certificate states that Tinglan Hong gave birth on December 29, 2012 to a healthy baby boy named Felix Chang Hong Grant at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, West London, and that it was registered at Westminster Register Office this Thursday, February 14, Valentine’s Day.
According to the report, Westminster City Council rules state that parents should register their newly-born babies within 42 days after the mother gives birth. But in this case of Hugh Grant and Tinglan Hong, it was already 5 days late. The document listed Hugh John Mungo Grant (the actor’s full name) as the father.
In Latin, Felix means “lucky” and Chang in Chinese means “long-lasting.” The name of their first child is Tabitha Xaio Xi, where Xiao Xi means “happy surprise.” Tabitha‘s arrival was publicly announced 2 months after she was born and when the couple already split. Nevertheless, they reportedly reunited in 2012.
