Howard Shore, the renowned composer and conductor, brings “The Lord of the Rings in Concert: The Fellowship of the Ring” on a West Coast tour starting October 2011. As disclosed by international entertainment sites, June 3, 2011, the tour is the first of the scheduled 3 annual tours for the movie.

The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings” is the story of a Hobbit named Frodo Baggins, who battled with the evil forces who wanted to take possession of the powerful ring. Together with members of the Fellowship of the Ring, they were able to succeed in their quest.

Written by J.R.R. Tolkien the story is a trilogy. The films were top-grossing movies worldwide. There are also 17 academy awards earned by the films.

The Lord of the Rings in Concert: The Fellowship of the Ring” will be featuring music conductor Ludwig Wicki, Pacific Chorale and Phoenix Boys’ Choir with Kaitlyn Lusk as soprano.

The tour includes the following schedules:

October 12 – Glendale

October 13 – San Diego

October 14 – Las Vegas

October 18 – Portland

October 19 – Seattle

October 21 – Fresno

October 22 – Oakland

October 23 – Sacramento

The Lord of the Rings in Concert: The Fellowship of the Ring” by the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and the rest of the group, will be playing amidst a giant screen that will feature amazing scenes from Peter Jackson’s adventure movie.
