The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2011 started on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Jakarta International Expo, wherein electric car Honda Jazz EV is among the green cars being featured, as shown in the photo below.

As announced at The Jakarta Globe on Saturday, the 19th Indonesia International Motor Show started on Friday which features 24 passenger car brands and 8 commercial vehicle brands, which will run until July 30.
According to the report, event coordinator Johnny Darmawan noted that time has come for car companies to take up green technology, which will “actively decrease the level of pollution”.
Honda was noted to have displayed 22 of its latest green cars including its Jazz EV, an electric car that can drive up to 100 miles once the battery is fully charged.
As emphasized at IIMS‘ official website, Honda Jazz EV takes around 12 hours to be fully charged for a 120-V or 6 hours for a 240-V supply, and can run at 160 kilometers per hour.
It also features a three-mode E-Drive system: Economy, Normal and Sport, with Honda noting that Economy mode offers to as much as a 17-percent increase in driving range, while the Sport mode will give the same power and as a 2-liter petrol engine.
