According to international news sites, a 36-minute clip of  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 film has been leaked online last Tuesday. The new Harry Potter film will start its showing in movie houses on Friday, November 18, 2010.

Warner Bros claimed that leaked video was “stolen and illegally posted” on file-distribution sites. The film production has intensified its monitoring online so that they can remove the video.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is one of two films to be adapted from the final book in JK Rowling‘s best-selling series. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will be released next summer.

Investigation is still ongoing to find out who is responsible for the illegal distribution of  the first 36-minutes of Deathly Hallows Part 1.

According to a statement provided through its studio spokesman, the leak of the 36-minute clip “constitutes a serious breach of copyright violation and theft of Warner Bros property”.

Deathly Hallows Part 1 is expected to draw the biggest opening weekend for the Warner Bros. The estimated gross amount is expected to surpass $100Million (£62.7m) in North America and a three day global ticket sales of $1Billion (£627.5m).
