Hollywood actress Halle Berry was hospitalized on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, after suffering from a head injury while shooting a movie in Los Angeles. Her rep later said that she has been released from the hospital and is now doing fine.

According to TMZ on Wednesday morning, sources told them that Halle Berry was rushed to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday night, and that the 45-year old Oscar-winning actress fell and hit her head on concrete.

As noted in reports, the incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. (local time) and she was transported via an ambulance, and the shooting was temporarily stopped. She was then filming “The Hive“, which also stars Abigail Breslin and David Otunga, and is being directed by Brad Anderson.

Nevertheless, Berry‘s spokesperson was later quoted telling to People that the “Die Another Day” star was released from the hospital and “suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, ‘The Hive‘.”

“She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.” The spokesperson was quoted as saying. Berry also had a foot injury last September in Spain while filming ‘Cloud Atlas‘.
