Groundhog Day 2011, Update on Punxsutawney Phil’s Prediction

The Groundhog Day 2011 update is about the prediction of various groundhogs about the future weather. The forecast has been the same with three of the prognosticators. This was disclosed by news sites in the US and Canada, February 2, 2011

The most famous of the groundhogs is Punxsutawney Phil of Pennsylvania. Since, he was not able to see his shadow, so this means spring will come in early. The same thing happened with Staten Island Chuck in New York, and Wiarton Willie in Canada. Wiarton Willie is Canada’s most famous groundhog.

If the groundhog was able to see his shadow, then 6 months of winter will follow. Despite the existing severe winter condition, the three groundhogs had predicted the early onset of spring this Groundhog Day 2011 celebrations.
