While Filipino seven-time world boxer champion Manny Pacquiao is preparing hard for his fight against Antonio Margarito, the grandson of Pinoy boxing legend, Flash Elorde is set to fight in the undercard.

Juan Martin ‘Bai’ Elorde, an unbeaten superfeatherweight boxer was given the signal from Pacquiao himself to be included as undercard in his fight this coming November.

As posted by Joaquin Henson at The Philippine Star a few hours ago, Pacquiao’s Canadian adviser Michael Koncz first suggested booking the young Elorde in a separate card featuring Bernabe Concepcion in Las Vegas.

The fight was supposedly a week before the Pacquiao-Margarito fight, but Pacquiao said he wanted Bai Elorde in his show.

Bai is Flash Elorde’s grandson and that means a lot,” said Pacquiao, as quoted by Elorde’s mother Liza. “I want to watch him in Texas.”

“I want him in my card. I think it will be good for Bai and good for publicity because of the Elorde name.” Pacquio added.

Bai Elorde is only 25 years old, 5-7 in height, and has a 10-0 record with three knockouts under his name.

Meanwhile, the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito fight will be on November 13 at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which is expected to be an action-packed boxing bout.
