Google is reportedly coming up with a major change on its search home page, according to reports by several international news sites on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Reports say that the new Google search homepage now features a logo over a grey horizontal bar on top instead of the old black bar. Clicking or highlighting the logo will show Google‘s seven services with a More option to show the other eight Google services.

Google revealed the changes in 2011 and has made the new features available to a limited number of users at this time.

Reports say that according to analysts, the changes were made to promote Google‘s businesses without messing up the search homepage.

According to a Google statement, the new Google search homepage roll-out is designed to continuously improve the user experience. A Google spokesman said that “Constant revision and improvement is part of our overarching philosophy.”
