Google officially launches Latitude App on iPhones, according to international technology sites. The Google Latitude App will allow users to track the location of their family and friends, and facilitate communication.

Blackberry, Symbian and other mobile phones made use of the app, but it is only this December 13, 2010 that Google officially launched its Latitude App for iPhones.

With the Latitude App, users will be able to share where they are and to know where their friends are. Even on a standby mode, the app could still provide data of the users’ whereabouts to their friends and families, who are registered with the Latitude App.

This is a video of how the Google Latitude App works.
