Google Plus, the social networking service from internet search giant Google Inc., has added games in its social networking features, according to reports by several international news sites on Thursday, August 11, 2011.

Reports say that the move is another step of Google+ in its head on duel with Facebook, the leader in social networking sites.

Google launched Google+ late in June and has now over 25 million users. The search giant hopes that the addition of Google+ games will attract more users and make them stay longer. Google Plus games will include a poker game from Zynga, and Angry Birds. The game feature option will be gradually rolled out to Google+ users.

Facebook was able to attract about 750 million users by giving users the opportunity to become farmers, mob bosses, pet owners, and restaurant managers in its role playing games. Top Facebook games include FarmVille, CityVille, Restaurant City and Empires & Allies.
