Google Doodle plays Imagine song as tribute to 70th Birth Anniversary of John Lennon

Google Doodle plays today the song Imagine at Google’s homepage as a tribute to the 70th birth anniversary of John Lennon tomorrow, October 9.

This should be the first time that Google Doodle is celebrating a special occasion with an audio feature, where a 32-second play of the song Imagine will be heard after clicking the Google logo.

The Google logo seems to include a caricature of the late John Lennon, with a red play button on the right side.

John Lennon, founder the legendary band Beatles that ruled the world with exciting and music, was born on October 9, 1940 in Liverpool, England.

The song Imagine, together with Give Peace a Chance is just among the songs of John Lennon that touched the world with his vision to have a peaceful world.

On Dec 8, 1980, John Lennon was shot dead near the New York apartment building where he and wife Yoko Ono lived that time.

The murderer was known to be Mark David Chapman, and John Lennon even was reportedly had autographed a copy of Double Fantasy for Chapman that night before he shot Lennon.
