According to local news sites that day, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was booked by authorities in her room at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Taguig City at around 4 p.m. (local time), who is still under hospital arrest.

The said booking was facilitated by Philippine National Police (PNP) Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit Senior Superintendent (CIDU) Joel Coronel, but was held private and no reporters were allowed to witness it.

This is one day after the same police official served the arrest warrant, to the former president, as issued by Pasay RTC 112 Judge Jesus Mupas, in front of her lawyers and husband Mike Arroyo.

As told by Coronel to reporters, the documents of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and mugshots will not be released publicly unless instructed by the court. No further details were revealed.

Meanwhile, Ferdinand Topacio, a lawyer of the former First Gentleman, said in a press conference said they will submit a supplemental petition to the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday, November 21.

The urgent motion will be requesting SC to declare the Commission on Elections (Comelec) joint panel that investigated the electoral sabotage cases in the 2007 mid-term election last Thursday as illegal.

A few hours later that day, charges were filed against Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, former Maguindanao Gov. Andal Ampatuan Sr., and former election supervisor Lintang Bedol. The arrest warrant was issued on late afternoon.
