As noted at entertainment news sites on Wednesday, the HBO film is based on the book with the same title and tells the story about John McCain‘s presidential campaign in the 2008 election.

The HBO movie features Ed Harris as John McCain and Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, who ran as McCain‘s vice presidential mate in 2008, as both of them dramatically lost the election.

Moore, 51, has just one line in the HBO movie trailer, where she delivered her speech in front of a huge crowd, accepting the Republican nomination for vice president in the 2008 election.

Interestingly, Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin notably shows her own style of good imitation of the politician’s hairstyle, eyeglasses; and even the classic Palin voice, who signed for the role last March.

Meanwhile, other notable actors in the said HBO movie include Woody Harrelson as Steve Schmidt, McCain‘s senior adviser; Peter MacNicol as Rick Davis, McCain‘s National Campaign Manager; and Melissa Farman as Bristol Palin.

The “Game Change” movie, which is to be shown in March 2012, is written by Danny Strong and directed by Jay Roach; with Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman as executive producers.
