Samsung will launch a lite and lower-cost version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that will feature two different display size options of 5.49 inches and 5.7 inches, according to the claims of an unnamed insider that hinted SamMobile website.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in 2014 and would hit the market anytime in February or March, according to some reports.
Previous rumors were circulating before the Galaxy Note 3 was launched that, Samsung will likely unveil several models of their flagship devices including the cheaper edition of Galaxy Note 3. As observed, Samsung is fond of making several versions of its devices and most likely the Galaxy Note 3 is of no exemption.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 3 Lite was said to have a model number SM-N7505 which was based on a shipment record listed at Zauba.com that Samsung is testing the device with both 5.49 and 5.7-inch screen sizes.
No specific information were revealed about the device other than its model number and display size options. The Galaxy Note 3 Lite is believed to come in black and white and will be downgraded to an 8-megapixel unit. Speculations about the LCD will most likely be changed from Super AMOLED to LCD.
On the other hand, a Samsung spokeswoman told CNET that the company does not comment on rumors or speculation about the supposed launching of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite.
