International news sites reported that Westboro Baptist Church has decided not to protest at the funeral of Christina Green, the 9-year old girl who were fatally shot on Saturday’s shooting incident in Tucson.

The sudden change of plans was due to a radio offer given to Westboro Baptist Church. Shirley Phelps-Roper said that 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, Canada and the KXXT-AM in Phoenix, Arizona offered an airtime for an interview and to discuss the church views in exchange for its members not to protest the girl’s funeral.

Meanwhile, reports said that the group will show up on Friday‘s funeral of U.S. District Judge John Roll, one of the six people shot dead on Saturday‘s shooting incident.

According to reports, the postponement of the protest at the funeral of Green was first reported by Topeka Capital-Journal.

The funeral protest was announced on GodHatesFags.com.
