French Open 2011: Roger Federer Wins Against Novak Djokovic

Roger Federer has won against Novak Djokovic in the French Open this year 2011.  According to sports news, June 3, 2011, Federer had played well displaying “magnificent serves and stunning forehands” against the equally “powerful” Serb player.

Novak Djokovic is suffering from an ankle injury after his match with Roger Federer, and has pulled out from the Aegon Championships.

Roger Federer’s win at Roland Garros ended Novak Djokovic’s 43-match winning streak.   Federer will compete for the finals against Rafael Nadal, the French Open Champion.

Federer who will turn 30 on August 8 reportedly showed in that particular match that he still got what it takes to be number 1 in the French Open.
