Freddie Roach has predicted that Filipino boxing hero, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will knockout Mexican Antonio Margarito in the first round of their bout on November 13, 2010, Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, according to international news sites.

The Pacquiao-Margarito 12-round bout is for the vacant World Boxing Council super welterweight title.

Roach believes that the bout could be over in less than three minutes, with Pacquiao winning over Margarito via a stoppage. The world-renowned boxing coach made his prediction during Wednesday‘s pre-fight conference at the Cowboys StadiumEarlier reports by international news sites, said that Roach predicted that Pacquiao will win by knockout either in the seventh or eighth round. He changed his prediction because he believes that Margarito is too slow and the Mexican “throws wild punches, makes too many mistakes, has too many bad habits” that will be an advantage for Pacquiao. Roach noted Pacquiao‘s great improvement in his training at the Wild Card Gym and Longhorn Exhibit Hall in Gaylord Texan Hotel.

Roach brushed off the idea that he is predicting a quick end because Margarito and Brandon Rios made fun of him about his Parkinson’s disease.
