Forbes Celebrity 100 2011 List: Lady Gaga Takes Over No. 1 From Oprah Winfrey (Photos)

Forbes has revealed the names of the men and women that are included on its list of Celebrity 100 for 2011 in its official website on Monday, May 16, 2011. Lady Gaga has taken over the top spot, as the most powerful celebrity, from Oprah Winfrey.

Celebrity 100 is Forbes‘ annual list of the men and women who are considered the entertainment business’ most powerful people for the year.

The Celebrity 100 2011 list of people from the entertainment business, which includes film and television actors, TV personalities, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians, has earned a total of $4.5 billion for the past 12 months and has garnered a strong following and influence everywhere.

Lady Gaga, number one in the Celebrity 100 2011 list, has earned $90 million from her concert tours and has shown influence with her 32 million Facebook fans and 9.5 million Twitter followers on her Little Monsters account.

Oprah Winfrey, for the third time in seven years, has relinquished the top spot of Celebrity 100.
She is in second place in the Celebrity 100 2011 list with earnings of $290 million in 2010. She gets her big earnings from SiriusXM, syndicated show and from the stars she’s spawned, including Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray and Dr. Oz. Next year, Winfrey will finally leave her syndicated show and will focus her time and efforts on her OWN network.

Justin Bieber, the teen singing sensation, took the third spot in the Celebrity 100 2011 list. The 17-year-old earned $53 million over the past 12 months from concerts, music sales and a 3D documentary movie.

Britney Spears heads the list of notable celebrities who failed to make it to this year’s Celebrity 100 list. Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter is also included in the list of notable Celebrity 100 list drop-offs.
