Forbes 400: Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg now richer than Apple CEO Steve Jobs

Forbes has recently released its annual list top 400 richest Americans, and Bill Gates was on top of them.

But here is an exciting fact to know, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is now richer than Apple CEO Steve Jobs, while another co-founder of Facebook Dustin Moskovitz was the youngest billionaire at 26 with $1.4 billion worth.

Forbes, Microsoft founder, Bill Gates has now a net worth of $54 billion, while the 80-year old Warren Buffet of Berkshire Hathaway is worth $45 billion, just $9 billion short to Gates.

While there are many exciting names on the list like Lawrence J. Ellison of Oracle who ranked third, it is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg who caught attention by observers.

Interestingly, the 26-year old owner of Facebook landed on the 35th spot is now worth $6.9 billion, almost 300% richer than last year.

Zuckerberg now surpassed Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, who landed on the 42th place and has a net worth of $6.1 billion.

The rapid increase of Zuckerberg‘s wealth was reportedly due to the $200m (£128m) investment in Facebook by the Russian firm Digital Sky Technologies, whose social networks are market leaders in Europe.
