Fisher Price Recall 2010: Complete List of affected Products and Contact Information

About seven million toys in the US and 150,000 in Canada have been affected by the Fisher Price Recall 2010 today, because they are said to be dangerous to children.

This was announced today by toy manufacturer Fisher Price on their online press release, along with the advice of US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The reported affected products include Fisher-Price Trikes and Tough Trikes Toffler tricycles, in which there were ten accident reports where children suffered from injury.

Six of which required medical attention after the children fell on the protruding disc-shaped and D-shape key, the press release said.

The affected products were reportedly sold from January 1997 to August 2010, and were manufactured in Mexico.

However, the company stressed out that the tricycles that were manufactured after June 16, 2010 are not affected.

This is because they used a modified key, which is a flattened D-shape, according to Fisher Price.

The manufacturing date (or run number) can be found under the seat, below the model number.

As an example, if the run number is 1670Q2, it denotes the 167th day of 2010 or June 16, 2010, the toy company said.

Meanwhile, there are other Fisher Price products that are included in the recall such as Little People Wheelies Stand ‘n Play Rampway. Although there were no reported injuries, two filed reports showed detached wheels.

The Close to Me, Healthy Care, and Easy Clean High Chairs are also being included in the recall because children can fall on the pegs, which can be found on the rear legs of the chair.

As taken from their website, below is the complete list of the Fisher Price products that were recently affected in the recall, and their contact information.
