The Gucci ad titled “Forever Now” featuring Charlotte Casiraghi for the first time was released online on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, as shown in the photo below, along with the “behind-the-scenes” video.

According to People that day, the Charlotte Casiraghi Gucci ad is the first in a series of sittings after the 25-year old Monaco royal was announced last week to be Gucci‘s newest spokesmodel, which is an extension of their partnership.

As noted in the report, Casiraghi came from a long line of beauties, from her mother Princess Caroline to her grandmother, Princess Grace of Monaco (Grace Kelly), who both became models for fashion magazines.

“The first portraits tell the story of Gucci‘s signature green and red stripe through the lens of Peter Lindbergh. Shot against the backdrop of a stable, the intimate photographs of Ms. Casiraghi evoke founder Guccio Gucci‘s fascination with the art of riding.” A statement reads at

“It was Guccio Gucci who appropriated the green and red stripe from the canvas girth strap of the horse‚Äôs saddle.” The statement added, noting that the released ad is the first in a series of sittings to take place between Charlotte Casiraghi and four celebrated fashion photographers over the next two years.

Apparently, Gucci‘s creative director Frida Giannini has been exclusively designing riding gear for the past couple of years in Casiraghi‘s competitions, and is dubbed as the official equestrian “ambassador” of the Gucci label.

Meanwhile, the Casiraghi Gucci ad campaign is being set to appear worldwide starting Wednesday, March 7, in newspapers and fashion and lifestyle magazines complementing Gucci‘s seasonal fashion campaigns.
