Fascinating Scotch Tape Sculptures: Contest Winners 2011

The annual Scotch Off the Roll Tape Sculpture Contest was concluded last April 14, 2011, as reported by entertainment and arts sites on the same date, but still the images appear engraved in the minds of art enthusiasts like Mark Jenkins, the master of  the tape art, himself .

The Grand Prize Winner is “The Big One” sculptured by Kent Hathaway of Oklahoma, who has received $5,000.

The First Prize winners of $500 were: “Sing and Scream Along” by Cameron of Florida, “The Mermaid Mechanic, Her Clockwork Sea Dragon and the Missing Wrench” by David of Indianapolis, and “Triangulated Torus” of Matthew of Washington D.C. People’s Choice through online voting was Cameron’s “Sing and Scream Along.”
