Newly-signed Belgian driver Jerome D’Ambrosio and sophomore Timo Glock will be driving the 2011 Virgin-Cosworth F1 car. The Virgin team is hoping that the digitally designed MVR-02 and its new set of drivers will turn things around for them in 2011 F1 Grand Prix. The 2010 debut season of Virgin-Cosworth suffered from poor car reliability and an undersized fuel tank. They finished at the tail-end of the 2010 F1 Grand Prix Final standings.

Some reports say that Virgin might be using an interim car in the upcoming Valencia test at the Spanish circuit which will be held on February 1-3. The MVR-02 is expected to make its on-track debut at the second pre-season test at Jerez from February 10-13.
