F1 Brazilian Grand Prix 2010 Qualifying Result: Hulkenberg claims pole position

The race for the 2010 Driver’s Championship took another twist as Williams’ Nico Hulkenberg took the pole position for Sunday‘s Race Day of the 2010 Brazilian Grand Prix. According to Formula 1 news, Hulkenberg conquered the Interlagos Circuit qualifying round by out-racing favored teams that includes Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren to put Williams in the front row at the start of Race Day.

Hulkenberg has been consistently fast all throughout and recorded a final lap of 1m 14.470s to convincingly claim the pole. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are in second and third for Red Bull with 1m 15.519s and 1m 15.637s respectively. Hamilton checked-in fourth with 1m 15.747s, while Driver’s Championship leader, Fernando Alonso, is in fifth place and clocked his Ferrari with 1m 15.989s.
