Sebastian Vettel took the pole position for the 2011 F1 European Grand Prix by getting the best time in the final qualifying round on Saturday, June 25, 2011, according to a report at F1.com.

It was Vettel‘s seventh pole position in the 2011 F1 World Championship for Red Bull. Vettel got his best time of 1m 36.975s in the third round of qualifying. His teammate Mark Webber checked-in at 1m 37.163s to make it a 1,2 for the Red Bull team at the start of the European Grand Prix Race Day.

Race day for the 2011 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be on Sunday, June 26 at the 5.419 km Valencia Street Circuit. The race will cover 57 laps or a total of 308.883 kms.
