Deadliest Catch star, Elliott Neese, is missing on the show’s 9th season that will premiere at Discovery on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

As of posting, there was no clear explanation about the missing Neese, who is the captain of the Ramblin’ Rose.

Sig Hansen, captain of the Northwester explained that “In all honesty, I’m kinda not surprised Elliott isn’t here this year.”

Neese had a trouble-filled eight season as he had a conflict with Ramblin’ Rose‘s owner.

Reports say that Neese also had a disappointing performance as he failed to provide a decent catch and was even criticized for hooking up undersized St. Matthew blue king crab.

More woes continued to pile up on Neese as Valerie Gunderson, whom he had two kids, kicked him out of their home. Reports say that Gunderson later accused his boyfriend of harassment.

Unconfirmed reports say that Neese is currently staying in Alaska. The Deadliest Catch star posted at his @CaptElliott Twitter account on Thursday,
