Earth Wobble Skewed Zodiac Sign Dates, Reason For Having The 13th Zodiac Sign?

Earth wobble is an astronomical term pertaining to Earth‘s different movement around its axis in a process called precession. Earth wobble was said to be the reason why the zodiac signs changed its dates and even acquired a new sign which is the Ophiuchus, thus making it the 13th zodiac sign.

According to several Science websites, the Earth‘s allignment today is no longer the same with the allignment it had thousand years ago, when the zodiac signs were first drafted. This process has been known for over a century by astronomers and is not new anymore. However, the sudden change of the zodiac signs creates a stir over the internet.

The buzz started after a Minneapolis astronomer named Parke Kunkle affirmed that the Earth’s “wobble” has changed the zodiac signs.

Reports said that astrologers have long known the issue raised by Kunkle and are not affected by it. Shelley Ackerman, spokesperson for the American Federation of Astrologers said that, “This doesn’t change your chart at all. I’m not about to use it,” she said. “Every few years, a story like this comes out and scares the living daylights out of everyone, but it’ll go away as quickly as it came.”
