Apparently, the said train was approaching Kamuning road in Quezon City when it got separated from the rest of the trains at around 7:58 a.m. on Monday, but nobody was hurt.

Local news reports said that the train was equipped with emergency break, as the safe passengers were advised to walk on the train track going back to the train station.

“Humiwalay yung train dun sa coach kaya nagkaroon tayo ng 12-minute disruption sa operations,” MRT Director for Operations Renato San Jose was quoted as saying.

San Jose added that this is the first time such incident has happened in their years of operations.
