Dwight Howard led Orlando Magic to victory against the Houston Rockets

It was all Superman inside the paint for Orlando Magic, as Dwight Howard dominated the game against the Houston Rockets, 97-88. Howard led all scorers with 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Yao Ming, playing his first game after having a left foot surgery last July 2009, stayed in the game for only 12 minutes. He took a shot only once, pulled down 3 rebounds and issued an assist for the Rockets. Vince Carter added 14 points for the Magic who won their preseason opener. Jameer Nelson issued a game high 8 assists for the Magic. Kevin Martin led the Rockets with 14 points.

Howard was so dominant as he easily scored 10 points in the paint against the 7-foot-6 Yao.
