Duane Kass Farm Fire in Iowa Killed 40 Cattles and Burned 2 Barns (video)

A fire in Duane Kass farm at a Dubuque County, Cedar Rapids, Iowa reportedly burned down two barns and killed 40 cattle heads, in the early morning of Saturday, February 12, 2011, according to international sites.

The cost of damage in the Iowa farm fire is estimated at $500,000 and this includes the burned barns, hay, corn, cattles, farm and milking equipments.

According to the Sheriff‘s office, the fire was already widespread over the farm when the firefighters arrived on the scene.

Investigators of Dubuque County are now conducting an investigation, to determine the cause of the fire.
