Donald Trump products are being asked to be removed from all Macy’s ads and stores through an online petition at SignOn.org. The Donald Trump petition was reportedly organized by 30-year-old lawyer Angelo Carusone.

As of posting, the petition against Trump has gathered 517,186 signatures. According to the website, the new goal of the petition is to reach 525,000 signatures.

Trump has been very critical of US President Barack Obama before and after the 2012 US Presidential elections that reportedly led to the signature campaign against the business mogul.

Below is the petition statement against Trump as posted at SignOn.org .

Macy’s: Donald Trump does not reflect the “magic of Macy’s.” We urge you to sever ties with him. Macy’s says it has a strong obligation to be “socially responsible” and that “actions speak louder than words.” Indeed. It’s time to act.

In a written statement on Tuesday, Macy’s said that “Many of the individuals associated with products sold at Macy’s — or at any retailer, for that matter — express personal opinions that are not related to the merchandise we sell or to the philosophies of our company.”

As a response to the petition against him, Trump posted the following on his Twitter account.
