The disqualification of Taiwan’s taekwondo athlete, Yang Shu-Chun, was questioned by the government of Taiwan as reported by international news, November 19, 2010. This is regarding sensors which she allegedly had in her electronic socks during a taekwondo bout in the Asian Games in Guangzhou.

A video taken of Yang Shu-Chun however, showed that she never had the chance to use the sensors because she had removed them before the bout.  The disqualification of Yang Shu-Chun was not taken kindly by the government of Taiwan.  They are now ready to file a complaint with the Courts of Arbitration for Sport to redeem Chun’s reputation and honor.
