Disney-Pixar Brave first official movie trailer released (Video)

The first official movie trailer of Disney-Pixar‘s “Brave” was released on Monday, June 27, 2011, as shown in the video below.

With the release of the current blockbuster “Cars 2” movie, Disney-Pixar released the first teaser trailer of the animated movie “Brave” which will be released in US theaters on June 22, 2012.

As noted on its official Facebook page, “Brave” is a story of Merida of Scotland, a young skilled archer and the daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, as her bravery will be measured in her adventure.

In the video below, Merida, with a bright colored hair, can be seen traveling through the woods when she came across a huge bear and took aim on the beast.

The film “Brave” features Kelly Macdonald for the voice of Merida, Billy Connolly for King Fergus and Emma Thompson for Queen Elinor.

Other Scottish stars included in the film are Craig Ferguson as the voice for Lord Macintosh, Robbie Coltrane for Lord Dingwall and Kevin McKidd as Lord MacGuffin.

The movie “Brave” was produced by Katherine Sarafian, and directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman.
