Die Hard 5 movie release on February 2013, Bruce Willis as John McClane, title revealed

The movie “Die Hard 5“, with the title ‘A Good Day To Die Hard‘, will be released on February 14, 2013, and Bruce Willis will still play as John McClane, a tough New York police.

According to Deadline.com on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, 20th Century Fox announced that the blockbuster movie franchise will have a fifth installment and is being set for a Valentine’s Day 2013 release.

As noted in the report, Bruce Willis will reprise his role as John McClane, whose first “Die Hard” movie back in 1988 brought him to fame. Both Die Hard 1 and 2 movies set up occurred on Christmas Day.

The third and fourth movie installments were shown in 1995 and 2007, respectively, with all the four movie series estimated to have combined earnings of $1,130,432,180 worldwide.

Apparently, MTV revealed that the shooting for the Die Hard 5 film will start this January and will be directed by John Moore, from a script by Skip Woods. The plot of the 2013 Die Hard movie will feature McClane heading to Russia to find his son, John McClane Jr.

As of this writing, the studio is still searching actor to play the role of McClane’s son. There are also on going speculations that Star Trek star Patrick Stewart may portray the role of the film’s main villain.
