Chicago Bulls superstar, Derrick Rose,  confirmed on Monday, April 25, 2011 that he will be playing in Game 5 of the NBA 2011 Playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, according to a report by NBA.com.

Rose, NBA 2011 MVP leading candidate, sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs last Saturday. Indiana won Game 4 to avoid a sweep by Chicago.

According to the NBA.com report, the MRI confirmed that there was no major problem in Rose‘s ankle. The swelling on his left ankle has gone down and he now wears flip flops a day after using a walking boot.

Rose rested his ankle by sitting out the Bull‘s practice on Monday.

The Bulls leads their best-of-seven series against the Pacers, 3-1.  They can wrap up the series with a win on Tuesday.
