According to TMZ on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, Demi Moore was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles on Monday night, which paramedics responded to a 911 call from the actress’ home at around 10:45 p.m.

As noted in the report, Moore, 49, was assessed for about 30 minutes and was taken to a local hospital for “further professional assistance”, but the TMZ source noted that the treatment is for “substance abuse”.

“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.” A rep for Demi Moore told TMZ.

“She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.” The rep added, with the “Ghost” star separating from her third husband Ashton Kutcher, 33, last November after being married for almost 7 years.

Meanwhile, TMZ noted later that Demi Moore will not continue her movie cameo role in the said film, starring Amanda Seyfried, along with Adam Brody and Sharon Stone; as confirmed by her rep.

Demi Moore was married to musician Freddy Moore from 1980 to 1984, and later married Bruce Willis in 1987, whom she has three daughters, but divorced in 2000.
